About Dr Sood

With an eye for detail and over 20 years of experience, Dr Sood’s philosophy involves individualised management plans designed to restore function and relieve pain. He and his team support each patient’s recovery with appropriate follow-up therapies and coordinated allied health care, including physiotherapy, to help achieve the best possible outcomes.

After graduating from Flinders University Medical School in 1998, Dr Sood finished his specialist orthopaedic training in South Australia. He then proceeded with advanced training in upper limb surgery with a 12 month fellowship in highly specialised centres across Australia and overseas, advancing his surgical techniques.

Today, Dr Sood remains at the forefront of advances in upper limb surgery including arthroscopic, minimally invasive interventions as well as patient-specific implants with custom instrumentation for complex shoulder replacement. He is also a Clinical Lecturer at Adelaide University.
